Since it's an Art School, people often wonder how OCHSA is structured. What's the day like...and what about academics? I know there are rumors of grueling long days and about kids staying at school every day until 7.
In truth, OCHSA has a regular academic day, every day until 1:30 p.m. Then Monday though Thursday, students attend Conservatory classes, which is where the art part comes in. Middle schoolers attend from 2:10 until 3:30 and high schoolers attend from 2:10 until 4:50. On Fridays there is no Conservatory and everybody gets out at 1:30 p.m. Continue reading ![]()
